For over 20 years, All Hallows Eve at Seven Eagles has been an evening ofhayrides, bonfires, storytelling, music, and re-enactors providing lantern tours of the Native Village and Pioneer Village.The fertile ground of the region has inspired many gourd crafters, growers and enthusiasts to call for the addition of a Gourd Festival to the 2007 All Hallows Celebration.Vendor spaces for gourd growers, sellers, craftpersons are on a 1st-come 1st-serve basis for the 2008 event. Vendor fees are only $10, but additional donations are accepted to the presenter, Arts Council Lake Erie West, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) atAclew.org. An admission fee of $2.50 per child or senior citizen, $5 per adult or $10 per family is charged.Children age four and under admitted free.
All Hallows Eve & Harvest Gourd Festival was a fun time for everyone in 2007 with horse-drawn carriage rides and the addition of a Saturday Gourd Fest from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. If you missed it, please put Friday night October 17 & Saturday October 18 on your 2008 calendar.
